Privacy Policy
This site is published under the name Uluwatu Property. It exists to answer questions about villas and land in Uluwatu and to put you in direct contact with us on WhatsApp. It collects as little personal information as it can, and this page sets out what that is.
What This Site Collects
There is no enquiry form, no account and no newsletter on this site. The only personal information that reaches us is what you choose to send in a WhatsApp message: your name as shown on WhatsApp, your number, and whatever you write, including any pin, screenshot or document you attach.
Like every website, the server that delivers these pages keeps standard access logs for a short period. Those logs hold your IP address, the page you requested, the time, and your browser type. They are used to keep the site running and to detect abuse, and for nothing else.
Analytics and Cookies
This site may use a privacy-respecting analytics tool to count visits and see which pages are read. Where analytics is in use it records aggregate page views, referrers, device type and country; it is not used to identify you or to build a profile of you. The site sets no advertising cookies and runs no advertising pixels.
If a cookie or similar technology is ever required for a feature to work, it will be a functional cookie only and this page will be updated to say so.
WhatsApp is operated by Meta Platforms, Inc. When you tap a WhatsApp link on this site, your device opens WhatsApp with a short prefilled message naming this site and the page you came from. Nothing is sent until you press send. Your conversation with us is then held on WhatsApp under Meta's own privacy policy and terms, which you accepted when you installed the app.
How We Use What You Send
We use the details in your message to answer it: to check zoning on a location you send, to tell you what is available that matches your budget and plans, and to send you documents on a specific property if you ask for them. We do not sell or rent your details. We do not add you to a mailing list. We share your details with a notary, lawyer or other professional only when you ask us to introduce you.
How Long We Keep It
WhatsApp conversations are kept for as long as they are useful to the enquiry, and deleted on request. Server logs are rotated within a short period. Aggregate analytics data holds nothing that identifies you.
Your Rights
You can ask us at any time what information we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Send the request in the same WhatsApp conversation, or open a new one from any page on this site. We aim to handle personal information in a way consistent with Indonesia's Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 27 of 2022) and, where they apply to you, the GDPR and the Australian Privacy Act 1988.
Changes to This Page
This page carries the date it was last updated. If the way this site handles personal information changes, the page changes with it.
